Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach electrical double layer and related theories in electrochemical systems.

Course Content

Overview of electrochemical systems, electrical double layer, potentials formed, measurement of potential change, external electrode potential, surface potential, dipole potential, explanation of concepts such as, Gibbs surface surplus, surface tension, maximum changes of electrocapilars, determination of surface charge, double layer adsorption, electrochemical and chemical potential, electrical interfaces are the content of this course.
