Course Goal / Objective
To provide students with the ability to identify the priority needs of individuals living in rural areas, to prepare programs in line with these needs, and to transfer new information and techniques with appropriate methods.
Course Content
Definition, history and philosophy of agricultural extension; agricultural extension/consultancy approaches and systems; goal-oriented program planning; adult education; identification of needs; moderation; individual methods; group methods; mass publication methods.
