Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to present the Neolithic settlements of Southeastern Anatolia in a general integrity, to understand the interaction between the research results and material findings and the interaction between the settlements and the daily life of the people of the period.
Course Content
The basic concepts of Neolithic ages, Neolithic centres in Southeastern Anatolia, which is the northern extension of Mesopotamia, geographical and climatic processes, social life and settlement order according to regions; the effects of art and religious beliefs on cultural development in line with the new researches conducted in recent years.
