Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to assure digestion mechanisms in fish (freshwater and marine species); general digestive enzymes and species-specific and diet-specific alteration of these enzymes and how the digest digested in terms of diet composition.

Course Content

Basic digestive system; Digestive system in freshwater and sea water species; feed types (plant-based or animal-) and digestion of these product; digestive system in larvae; digestive system and metabolic interaction; protein and lipid digestion; lipid digestion-fatty acid digestion; protein digestibility.
