Course Goal / Objective

To gain basic information about the toxicity caused by various pollutants such as heavy metals, pesticides, industrial and domestic wastes that cause stress on fish and enter the aquatic environment.

Course Content

Stress, stress sources and stress formation mechanism in fish. Determination of stress level in immunological, endocrinological and hematological dimensions and determination of stress indicator parameters. To gain basic information about the various morphological and physiological responses of fish to different types of stress factors
