Course Goal / Objective
The general aim of the course is to explain the basic principles and concepts related to education, to interpret the scientific, historical, philosophical, psychological, social, economic and legal foundations of education and to comprehend the characteristics of the teaching profession.
Course Content
Basic concepts related to education; teaching as a profession; teacher competencies and qualifications of efficient teachers; scientific, historical, philosophical, psychological, social, economic and legal foundations of education; education in the 21st century; relationship between education and technology.
