Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach the basic principles of organization and management of production processes in the automotive sector. Students will learn the basic principles of business and management sciences, understand production systems, and grasp productivity and efficiency analyses with topics such as production economics and pricing theory. In addition, they will be prepared to work as a competent engineer in the sector by learning modern production management approaches and their applications in the automotive industry.

Course Content

In this course, the basic principles of business and management science will be discussed, and the organization of the business and the positioning of production units will be examined. In the context of the concept of production and production management, the relationship between the basic principles of economics and production economics will be explained, and the topics of price theory and supply analysis will be discussed. Production organization and management processes specific to the automotive sector will be discussed, and production strategies will be evaluated within the framework of the concepts of productivity and efficiency.
