Course Goal / Objective

Automotive Engineering students aims to comprehend the basic static and strength information of the machines to be used in industrial production, to classify machine elements according to their characteristics, to calculate the strength of the machinery elements and to provide the appropriate element.

Course Content

Principles of machine design, stress analysis, materials and processes, strength of machine elements, design and selection of machine elements, bolts and other joining elements.
