Course Goal / Objective
Students will be primarily informed about the definitions of the news, and within this context, it will be possible to evaluate the objectivity of the news.The lesson also includes the types and basic elements of the news, the news language, news writing rules, news sources, questioning techniques and editing.
Course Content
The course aims to acquire basic knowledge and skills about news gathering and writing rules. Thus, students are prepared to work in a professional manner. It is also aimed to provide students with the opportunity to find their own place in the press world equipped with new communication technologies by combining the theory and practice of the lecturer.

There are no prerequisites for the course.
