Course Goal / Objective
These lessons also include, for example, feathers and bristles, spines, rough textures), with chemicals that kill or kill herbivores, with antibiotics and anticenosis, terpenoids and pheolixes, phenols and quinones), both with nectar and pollen, and tips. They will be bred by the enemies of the herbic organisms that will be developed for livestock. Course Content
Plants resist herbivorous insect and mite attacks with various morphological, biochemical and molecular mechanisms or compensate for the damage to occur. The biochemical defense mechanism against herbivores (harmful organisms that feed on plants) is quite extensive and extremely dynamic, and they provide the defense directly or indirectly. Defense compounds are produced either directly by the plant or reactively when the plant is damaged, thereby affecting the nutrition, development and survival of the herbivorous organism. In addition, plants secrete volatile organic compounds that attract natural enemies of herbivorous harmful organisms. These defense strategies work either independently or in conjunction with each other. In this way, induced resistance in the plant can reduce the use of insecticides used in pest control. Host plant resistance to insects, particularly induced resistance, can be mediated by the chemical provision of secondary metabolites that drive insect resistance.
