Course Goal / Objective
In this course, it is aimed to understand the information about journalism necessary for collecting data and writing all kinds of news to be published in the media.

Concept and importance of news, Basic elements of news, Qualities of news, Three components of news, Types of news, News gathering methods, News sources, Actors managing the news gathering process, News writing process and basic information, Anatomy of news; Headline, spot, news introduction techniques and body of the news, News writing techniques; It covers inverted pyramid technique, Pyramid (straight) technique, Chronological series technique, Listing technique, Wall street journal technique.
