Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide an introduction to the main theoretical frameworks used in the field of peace and conflict studies in relation to contemporary international politics.

Course Content

This course covers following topics: i) Theoretical explanations of violence, conflict and peace, ii) Post-conflict peacebuilding processes, iii) Alternatives to the use of force and violence in the international system.
