Course Goal / Objective

The student will be able to prepare growth medium and produce microalgae production. General characteristics of phytoplankton organisms and ecology and culture techniques of micro algae with great importance in aquaculture enterprises.

Course Content

Definition of microalgae, Microalgae production methods, Microalgae culture media, Monitoring of microalgae growth, Microalgae counting methods, Preservation of microalgae species.
