Course Goal / Objective
The general aim of this course is to emphasize the potential uses and methods of algae, which have gained importance in biotechnology, to introduce the products obtained and to have an idea about its place in the world market.
Course Content
Production methods of commercially produced algae, utilization areas of biomass obtained in algae production, how microalgae culture is carried out commercially, problems encountered during production and the place of algae in the world market.
