Course Goal / Objective
The general purpose of the course is to introduce students to the branches of gymnastics and to provide them with the ability to apply the basic techniques of the branches of gymnastics. To provide them with the ability to master the apparatus techniques and competition rules in the branch of gymnastics.
Course Content
Definition of general gymnastics, historical development, basic gymnastics stances, formations, use of space, free individual and partner movements, individual and partner movements with apparatus, individual and partner movements with apparatus, rules, information, practice, observation, error detection in technical movements and teaching information.
