Learns the importance and the techniques of increasing genetic yield performance on livestock.

Course Content

Adaptation, Phenotypic variation, Heritability, Repeatibility, Selection, Breeding value, Generation interval, Crossing methods, Inbreeding, Heterosis, Modern breeding strategies.
