Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the changes in the metabolism of ruminants under heat stress and the preventive strategies that can be taken against heat stress.

Course Content

This course focuses on the basics of stress physiology, the relationship between ruminant animals and the environment, and the thermal environment and physiological systems.

Course Precondition

General Animal Nutrition and Ruminant Nutrition courses or instructor's approval are required.
