Course Learning Outcomes

Order Course Learning Outcomes
LO01 Recognizes soils and takes disturbed and undisturbed soil samples
LO02 Determines physicial (unit weights, porosity, void ratio, degree of saturation, water content) and consistency (Liquid limit, Plastic limit, Shrinkage Limit and Plastisity index) properties by doing related tests and calculations.
LO03 Determines the grain size of soils by doing grain size analysis (sieve and hydrometer) and calculations.
LO04 Classifies soils and evaluates their engineering beviors preliminarily
