Course Goal / Objective

Determination of sedimentary rocks by using thin-section and hand specimen, identify petrographical and textural properties of sedimentary rocks, classification, to gain the ability to examine the sedimentary rocks under polarised microscope and using hand specimens.

Course Content

Sedimanter kayaçların ana özellikleri, sedimanter kayaçların oluşum süreçleri, sedimanter kayaçlarda dokusal analizler. Sedimanter kayaçların sınıflandırılma ve adlandırılmaları.
