Course Goal / Objective
Community Service Practices course is a course that aims to provide students with theoretical and practical awareness of social responsibility and to develop cooperation, solidarity, effective communication and self-evaluation skills during practice. Understand the importance of social responsibility projects in terms of social and cultural values; identify current social problems; prepare projects to solve identified social problems; Voluntarily taking part in social responsibility projects individually and as a group; Participating in social responsibility projects in various institutions and organizations; Participating in scientific events such as panels, conferences, congresses and symposiums as audience, speaker or organizer; It aims to provide students with basic knowledge and skills to evaluate the results of social responsibility projects.
Course Content
Community service practices course aims to provide students with social sensitivity and awareness; cooperation, solidarity, effective communication and self-evaluation skills; It aims to develop and support social responsibility awareness and self-confidence. The importance of community service practices, identifying current problems of the society and preparing projects to produce solutions, participating in scientific events such as panels, conferences, congresses and symposiums as an audience, speaker or organizer, taking part voluntarily in various projects within the framework of social responsibility, implementing community service activities in schools. To provide basic knowledge and skills
