Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to examine the historical development and current situation and problems of press photography. This course, which aims to provide information about the characteristics that press photographs should have, press photography techniques and theoretical approaches, also aims to provide information about the ethics of press photography.
Course Content
Press Photography examines the historical development of press photography and its current situation and problems both worldwide and in Turkey. It includes the contextual and formal characteristics of press photographs, the qualities that a press photographer should possess in terms of quality and quantity, and approaches to press photography.
