Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to gain the ability to produce effective and accurate news by using the basic concepts used in the field of data journalism, data collection, analysis, visualisation and data-based storytelling techniques.
Course Content
In this course, basic concepts of data journalism, data sources, data cleaning and analysis methods, statistical techniques, data visualisation tools and data-driven storytelling strategies will be examined; news production processes using these techniques will be discussed practically.
