Course Goal / Objective
This course focuses on science communication and journalism. The course, which aims to focus on the historical development, current situation and problems of science journalism, focuses on transferring and explaining science to society by questioning the relationship between science and society, and aims to explain the channels/methods of building a bridge between society and science.
Course Content
The course focuses on the social functions of science and in particular the publicization of science / knowledge. It emphasizes the role of the media in the process of knowledge production and distribution; and in the context of science communication, questions the relations/connections between scientists and the media and society.
