Course Goal / Objective

Thermal comfort, energy saving and economic benefits of thermal insulation; to make the design of the environment as thermally comfortable as possible with alternative solution examples.

Course Content

The main concepts of heat conservation in buildings, investigation of parameters affecting heat loss and gains, physical effect of external temperature on the building shell, investigation of heat related events in the building shell, vapor transmission and condensation in the building shell are aimed to be investigated according to the related standard.
