Course Goal / Objective

To comprehend the richness of Turkish, to be able to use a correct and effective written and oral Turkish, to instill the importance of language by comprehending the relationship between language and culture, to comprehend the rules to be considered in correspondence, to comprehend the features of aesthetic arts.

Course Content

What is language The place and importance of language in the life of a nation as a social institution The place of Turkish language among the world languages and the historical periods of Turkish language. Sounds in Turkish and their classification, sound features of Turkish and rules related to phonetics. Turkish construction affixes and application, general information about composition. The plan to be used in composition writing and its application. Petition and resume writing. Spelling and punctuation.
