Course Goal / Objective
To comprehend the definition of glass, its properties, the types of glass used in architecture, its production.
Course Content
Definition and properties of glass as building material, classification of glass used in architecture (normal glass, surface coated glass, security glass, glass bricks, laminated glass, etc.), the use of glass-like materials in architectural design (plexigals, polycarbonate, etc.)
