Course Goal / Objective
The Local Administrations course aims to understand the structure, functioning and role of local governments in society. It creates awareness about the principles of municipality, public services and local administration by addressing local governments with their legal, financial and administrative aspects. Emphasizing the citizen-oriented service approach and good governance principles, this course aims to equip students with both theoretical and practical knowledge, to enable them to become effective individuals in local governments and to gain a solid foundation in the field of public administration.
Course Content
This course; It includes existing legislation, knowledge, theory and current approaches about local governments in Turkey and foreign countries.
