Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course to study relationship of consumer culture and religion in the context of the secularization theory.

Course Content

In this course, consumer culture will be examined in context of secularization theory. In this course, religion and consumption, market, modernities, ınvisible religion, market Islam, Islamic culture industry also will be examined.
