Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach students the concepts of aesthetics, the understanding of beauty and the basic principles of aesthetic practices. It is aimed to gain a professional perspective in the sector by introducing the techniques, devices and materials used in aesthetic applications. In addition, it is aimed to provide students with the competence to make conscious and correct practices in line with customer satisfaction, hygiene rules and ethical principles.

Course Content

Concept and History of Aesthetics – Definition of aesthetics, its historical development and understanding of beauty. Skin and Body Analysis – Skin types, body shapes and analysis methods. Hygiene and Safety in Aesthetic Applications – Cleaning, disinfection and sterilization rules. Skin Rejuvenation Methods – Anti-aging techniques, moisturizing and tightening methods. Body Shaping Techniques – Cellulite care, regional slimming and tightening applications. Aesthetic Devices and Their Use – Laser, radiofrequency, ultrasonic devices and other professional equipment. Customer Communication and Consultancy – Professional customer relations and consultancy services. Current Trends in Aesthetics – New applications, technologies and sectoral developments.
