Course Goal / Objective

Understanding the principles underlying scientific approaches, developing analytical thinking skills and gaining the knowledge and ability to conduct scientific research, literature review and interpretation within the framework of ethical rules

Course Content

Types of knowledge, the concept of science, the characteristics of scientific knowledge, scientific method, publication types and features, article and thesis writing stages, ethical rules to be applied in scientific research, and citation styles and techniques in accordance with ethical rules.
