Course Goal / Objective

To be able to make the necessary risk assessments by understanding the environmental hazards and risks arising from climate change.

Course Content

he definition and causes of climate change, examples of various climate based disasters in the world, the investigation of the effects of climate change on water resources, ecosystem, energy, society, agriculture, forests, transport, health. Determining of hazards related to climate change, assesment of the risks of associated with those hazards, accordingly determination of critical infrastructure and issues, what to do in order to adapt and the managing risks.
