Course Goal / Objective
To understanding of the Earth’s natural systems and how people use natural resources, investigate the impact of human development on the environment and learn how the environment can be managed sustainably in the future, from a local as well as a global perspective
Course Content
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of concept of sustainable development the emergence of the concept and its development, Dimensions and principles of sustainable development, Principles and objectives of environmental management, Environmental management and science, Approaches, methods, techniques and tools in environmental management, proactive evaluation and forecasting methods, 2030 agenda for sustainable development, the objectives, goals and indicators of sustainable development, Sustainable development policy environment in Turkey, Turkey's status on sustainable development, local sustainable development, corporate sustainability.
