Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students the basic principles of epilation, application methods and technologies used. Students will learn the effects of epilation on the skin, epilation methods suitable for different skin types and hygiene rules, and will have the knowledge and skills to perform professional and safe practices.
Course Content
Epilation Devices and Technologies: Laser epilation (diode, alexandrite, Nd:YAG), use of IPL and needle epilation devices. Effects of Epilation on Skin: Skin reactions, side effects and preventive measures. Hygiene and Sterilization: Hygiene rules and customer safety in epilation applications. Epilation Application Techniques: Learning the correct techniques, customer consultancy and application practice. Contraindications and Situations to Consider: Situations where epilation cannot be performed, sensitive skin types and possible risks. Professional Ethics and Customer Communication: Professional service delivery, customer satisfaction and ethical rules.
