Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to ensure that students gain awareness of social responsibility, show sensitivity to the needs of society, and use their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of society. Students will improve their communication and organizational skills while contributing to society by taking part in social projects individually and as a group.
Course Content
Concept of Community Service – The importance of social responsibility and volunteering. Determination of Social Needs – Planning and execution of social projects. Volunteering Activities – Cooperation with non-governmental organizations. Health and Hygiene Awareness – Raising social awareness in the beauty and care industry. Education and Information Projects – Public awareness activities. Studies on Disabled and Elderly Care – Support projects for individuals with special needs. Integration of Professional Practices into Society – Implementation of hair care, skin care and personal care services in social projects. Social Responsibility Project Development – Project preparation, presentation and evaluation processes. Communication and Teamwork – Interacting with society and group work. Sustainable Projects – Development of long-term social service projects.
