Course Goal / Objective
Furniture industry, mainly parquet, structure, etc. To teach the manufacturing techniques of chipboard and fiberboard, which are widely used wood products in the forest industry, and the production and post-production quality control and processing properties of these materials, as a basis for students to take the course.
Course Content
Definition and classification of plates, their properties and usage areas, wood and non-wood lignocellulosic raw materials used in the production of different plates, storage of wood, chopping, sieving, fiber grinding methods, dosing of glued fibers, wet and dry laying methods, Techniques and finishing operations, thermal treatment, physical and mechanical properties of plates.
