Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach basic concepts about pesticides, classification of pesticides, mechanisms of action of pesticides, routes of exposure to pesticides, basic treatment of acute and chronic pesticide poisoning in animals, and information about pesticide analysis.

Course Content

Basic concepts related to pesticides, mechanisms of action of pesticides, routes of exposure to pesticides, species-dependent diagnosis and treatment protocols in acute and chronic pesticide poisoning, first aid in acute pesticide poisoning, methods and techniques used in pesticide analysis.
