Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the necessary concepts by defining the physics of therapeutic radiology and to provide knowledge on radiation protection in therapeutic radiology.
Course Content
Radiological Devices for Therapeutic Purposes (Radiotherapy), External Radiotherapy Devices, Co-60 Therapy Devices, Linear Accelerators, Hadron Therapy Devices, Internal Radiotherapy Devices, Radiation Dose Measurements in Therapeutic Radiology, Quality Control Methods in Therapeutic Radiology, Patient and Employee Radiation Doses in Therapeutic Radiology, Radiation Safety in Therapeutic Radiology, Basic Safety Standards in Radiation Protection.
