Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the principles of enzyme immobilization and basic principles of enzyme immobilization methods and to develop a theoretical background about immobilized enzymes.

Overview of Enzyme Immobilization, Enzyme Immobilization Methods, Covalent Immobilization, Adsorption-Based Methods, Encapsulation Methods, Cross-linked Enzyme Aggregates, Characterization of Immobilized Enzymes, Industrial Uses of Immobilized Enzymes
