Course Goal / Objective

The main objective of the course is to equip students with basic knowledge of biopolymer technology.

Course Content

Properties of polymers, synthesis and characterization of biopolymers, general application area of biopolymers, fermentation and chemical methods for biopolymer synthesis, chitin and chitosan characterization, chitosan oligomers, properties and application area of these oligomers.
