Course Goal / Objective

The origin of the science of ecology, its principles, its relationship with other sciences, the reasons why it has become popular today, and the ability to think critically, propose solutions and be active on the main issues to be considered in ensuring the continuity of nature in balance. Emphasis on individual and social awareness. Factors that have played a role in biodiversity since the formation of the world, the role of ecology in biodiversity, and threats to biodiversity.

Course Content

Understanding the concept of ecology and the reasons why ecology has become popular, emphasizing the concept of 3P, giving basic ecological concepts, classification of ecology-ecological factors, the role of ecology in the beginning and diversification of life in the world, forms of adaptation, popular ecological problems today-greenhouse effect and the importance of human factor, intraspecies -Ecological evaluation of interspecies relations. Revealing the basic ecological functions with the factors that affect them and their results, in this context, emphasizing the concept of a sustainable world. Factors affecting biodiversity in the world and in our country, the concept of biodiversity, developments that pose a threat to biodiversity.
