Course Goal / Objective

To gain basic knowledge about the functions, methods, content and technical terminology of Mechanical Engineering at the beginning of the education. To know the basic definitions, concepts, scope and relations between Mechanical Science and Engineering Sciences; To explain the basic functions and methodology of Mechanical Engineering; To understand Engineering and Machine Designs; To explain the motion, force, strength, durability and resistance properties of machines; To have basic knowledge about the components, materials and production methods of machines.
