Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to provide students with the basic concepts, principles and functioning of public administration. Students will gain the ability to analyze the differences between public administration and private sector administration, the process of creating public policies and the functioning of public institutions. In addition, students are encouraged to follow current developments in the field of public administration by addressing topics such as democratic management, bureaucracy, local governments, governance and the provision of public services. The course also emphasizes how effective and transparent management should be, ethical principles and good governance practices. As a result, this course aims to provide students with a theoretical and practical perspective in the field of public administration and prepare them for a successful career in the public sector or related fields.

This course; It includes the definition of public administration, its features, current approaches and general features of the Turkish public administration organization.
