Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students to comprehend the basic concepts of surveying technique, to gain competence in geometric and trigonometric levelling, area and polygon coordinate calculations, to use the basic equipment used in topographic measurements (level and theodolite) effectively and to develop teamwork skills.

Course Content

This course consists of basic concepts of surveying, geometric and trigonometric levelling, surface levelling, longitudinal sections, area calculation methods, vertical coordinate system, polygon points and calculations and field applications.
