Course Goal / Objective

uses interdisciplinary thinking and reasoning skills by understanding what it means to learn interdisciplinary. Gains problem-solving skills by using the knowledge of different disciplines especially regarding socio-scientific issues.

Course Content

Interdisciplinary learning, perceiving knowledge and skills used in different scientific fields, understanding the nature of interdisciplinary knowledge, valuing and developing an interdisciplinary perspective; using interdisciplinary knowledge in science teaching; local, national and global events, product and model development, process and system design, project development, inventing and personal development, career choice and importance; interdisciplinary skills, engineering and design, decision-making, higher-order thinking, information-communication and cooperation, innovative thinking, entrepreneurship, science, technology, society and the interaction between the environment: environment, culture, science and technology policies; teaching socioscientific issues, Being a citizen with responsibility, attitude and value, making and implementing rational decisions about socioscientific issues; cognitive, affective, intuitive, moral and ethical reasoning; applying teaching methods and strategies for socioscientific issues
