Course Goal / Objective

To explain the causes and mechanisms of physiological events occurring in plants.

Course Content

Cell-tissue-organ definition. Water and mineral uptake and transport of substances. Transpiration, respiration, photosynthesis, transport of organic matter. Growth and development physiology (fitokrom system, plant growth regulators, flowering, stress physiology).
