Course Goal / Objective

In this course, students will be able to recognize control circuit elements and their working principles, by using control circuit elements; It is aimed to be able to start, change direction of rotation in motors, make low voltage start circuits and operate with electric motors.

Course Content

Control input elements, control the output elements, electrical motors, relays, electric motors, control. Introduction to the special circuit elements. Magnetic and thermal circuit breakers, contactors, electromagnetic elements, Limit switches, pressure switches, timers, thermostats, and valves. AC motor control, and control properties. The engines running, stopping and braking, speed change of direction, low voltage starting and techniques. Motor speed control circuits analyzing.
