Course Goal / Objective
To undeTo educate students as individuals who recognize the richness of the Turkish language, can express themselves effectively both in writing and speaking, successfully use Turkish in both social interactions and professional life, accurately express themselves in oral and written communication, and possess a high level of language awareness.rstand the richness of Turkish language, to use correct language in written and spoken environments, the relationship between language and culture to teach the importance of understanding the language, understand the rules that should be considered in correspondence.
Course Content
1) What is language? Characteristics of language and the relationship between language and culture 2) Types of language and various definitions of language 3) An overview of theories on the origin of languages and the classification of world languages based on their structure and origin 4) Historical periods of the Turkish language 5) Language studies before and after the Republic 6) Phonetics 7) Spelling rules and punctuation marks 8) Official correspondence and types of official documents (written in the form of a purpose statement)
