Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to enable students to recognize electrical and physical quantities, to measure these quantities and to make calculations related to them, and to gain the knowledge and skills of using measuring instruments.

Course Content

Length, cross section and diameter measurement, volume, area and measurement errors calculations, units and conversions, definitions of basic electrical and physical quantities, use of measuring instruments and multimeter, measurement of resistance, capacitor and coil, current-voltage, frequency, power measurement and use of oscilloscope.
