---|---|
LO01 | By understanding semiconductor theory, they explain the physical and electrical properties of P and N-type semiconductor materials. |
LO02 | By understanding the PN junction, they explain the operating principles of diodes and the structures and characteristics of semiconductor diode types (e.g. rectifier, Zener, LED, photodiode). |
LO03 | They analyze diode application circuits (rectification, voltage regulation, switching, etc.) and explain their operating principles. |
LO04 | They explain the operating principles of semiconductor components such as bipolar junction transistors (BJT) and metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFET) and evaluate their applications in switching and amplification. |
LO05 | They design and implement basic electronic circuits using semiconductor components (diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, etc.) and interpret their operating principles. |
LO06 | Uses appropriate measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.) to test semiconductor circuit elements, detects and interprets faults. |
LO07 | They use computer-aided simulation programs (e.g., suc as Proteus software) to analyze and validate electronic circuits. |
LO08 | They explain the industrial and daily life applications of semiconductor technology with examples. |
