Course Learning Outcomes

Order Course Learning Outcomes
LO01 By understanding semiconductor theory, they explain the physical and electrical properties of P and N-type semiconductor materials.
LO02 By understanding the PN junction, they explain the operating principles of diodes and describe the structures and characteristics of semiconductor diode types such as rectifier, Zener, LED, and photodiode.
LO03 They analyze diode-based circuits (rectification, voltage regulation, switching, etc.) and explain their operating principles.
LO04 They explain the operating principles of semiconductor components such as bipolar junction transistors (BJT) and metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFET) and evaluate their applications in switching and amplification.
LO05 They design and implement basic electronic circuits using semiconductor components (diodes, transistors, MOSFETs, etc.) and interpret their operating principles.
LO06 They use appropriate measurement devices (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.) to test electronic circuit elements, diagnose faults, and interpret the results.
LO07 They use computer-aided simulation programs (e.g., Proteus gibi software) to analyze and validate electronic circuits.
LO08 They explain the applications of semiconductor technology in various fields such as industry, communication, medicine, automotive, and consumer electronics with examples.
